Final Painting:  18" x 24", oil paint on MDF board

A beautiful oil painting featuring Beauty & the Beast as well as Colin the pig.  The first five covers were truly unique.

Another interesting sidenote:  James' original concept for the first four (possibly five?) covers was that they would share elements that would allow the covers to link together.  This was evident in some of the early prelims.  Below you can see how three of the covers were meant to connect.
