I had the opportunity to see the very early stages of this painting, as James was just starting to work on the final artwork.  I must not have an artist's eye, as I certainly didn't see the potential for so much beauty in the early going.  How can such simple subject matter become such incredible eye candy?  The execution of this cover is just incredible.

Many artists get better as time goes by...but is it possible to get better each and every month?  I'm starting to think so.
