Prelims:  8.5" x 11", graphite on SVA scrap/copy paper

Directly referencing the story within the pages, the original prelim had the children on the cover holding guns.  DC rejected this cover for its supposedly "controversial" content, and so we ended up with the weaker image of Goldilocks and the three bears.  You may also notice that the children are holding toy weapons on the Animal Farm TPB cover.

Final prelim is interesting in that the logo and Vertigo box, boot outline and Reynard the Fox are photocopy from the original prelim submission. One of a very few prelims to have the logo on the original art.
