Fables TPB 2:  Animal farm

Generally considered to be one of James' best covers to date, the original art does not disappoint.  With a beautiful composition and incredible detail (check out the guns and the lace on the collar of one of the children), this is easily one of JJ's most gorgeous and instantly recognizable pieces. One of only two covers that feature Shere Khan (the other being #8), this is also the only cover outside of the first five that includes Colin the pig hiding in the background.

The second prelim was done to fill the oval on the left once the rabbit was moved to the top right corner.
